Uses
Primarily designed for underground transportation in coal mines, it can also be used for material handling in the metallurgical and chemical industries.
Features
The solid-core flame-retardant conveyor belt is manufactured by impregnating and plasticizing or vulcanizing an integral belt core with a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) impregnation compound. It features high strength, large conveying capacity, and stable transportation, while also offering excellent flame retardancy, antistatic properties, impact resistance, wear resistance, and corrosion protection. Flame-retardant conveyor belts are primarily categorized into two main types: PVC-type and PVG-type. In the PVC type, both the top and bottom cover layers are made of PVC material, with a single-side cover thickness of at least 0.8 mm. In contrast, the PVG type combines nitrile rubber with PVC in its top and bottom cover layers, achieving a single-side thickness ranging from 1.5 mm to 4.5 mm. PVC conveyor belts are suitable for transporting materials at inclines of less than 16°, while PVG belts can handle inclines up to 20°. Both types are ideal for use in both above-ground and underground transportation applications in coal mines.
